Redefining What an Urn Can Be

Designed to Seamlessly Fit Within Your Home
Quality Starts with Production
Precise Wood Carving
Thoughtful Color Matching
Meticulous Lacquering
Meaningful Accessorizing
Crafting with Love and Care
To begin, we cut a thin covering, called a veneer. It is critical to pay close attention to the design in order for the veneer to match on each corner of the urn.
Next we match the color schemes and then sand before lacquering. Sanding is a vital step in the preparation process that allows the varnish to later set properly.
Lacquering is the longest step in the process, as it’s important to ensure that each layer of varnish dries completely. After several layers and several days of drying, the urn is ready for thefinal step.
After the final polish, some urns are immediately ready for purchase, while some like The Thompson urn have additional details added such as a Florentine velvet lining or removable tray.
Our urns offer families a unique, modern way to honor their loved ones. Handmade by our artisans in Italy, each memorial is truly individual, just like the lives they celebrate.
Why We Started Oaktree
We founded Oaktree after losing beloved family members and experiencing first-hand how difficult it can be to find memorial products that we would be proud to wear or have in our home. We started Oaktree to provide you with a one-of-a-kind collection of urns and memorials.
We are honored that you chose Oaktree.
With gratitude,
Miles & Max, Co-Founders
